Our Story

It started with a pair of cotton pajamas.

I wasn't trying to start a brand. I was just tired. Tired of synthetic fabrics that didn't breathe, tired of clothes that felt fine in the store and wrong by noon. I went looking for a simple pair of cotton pajamas — something soft, something real — and I couldn't find exactly what I wanted.

That search turned into a question: why is so much of what we wear made from materials that work against us? It sent me back to my own closet. I started pulling things out. Polyester blend after polyester blend. Clothes I'd bought because they looked good, not because they felt good. I donated most of it and decided to start over — this time with intention.

ELIEH grew out of that reset. It's not a grand statement or a movement. It's just a commitment to clothing that starts with better materials, is designed to actually be worn, and is built to last longer than a season.

What We Believe

Natural fibers as the foundation — always.

We use the word "foundation" deliberately. It means that before anything else is considered — construction, color, cut — we ask what the fabric is made of. Natural fibers come first. That's the non-negotiable.

Every ELIEH piece is made with at least 45% natural fiber content — cotton, linen, and other plant and animal-derived materials that breathe, soften with wear, and sit lighter on the planet. Many of our pieces reach 90% natural fiber content or higher. We're not chasing a certification or a marketing angle. We just think clothing should feel like clothing.

We source carefully, vet our suppliers, and care about where things come from. We're a small brand and we'll always be honest about where we are in that process. What we can promise is that we won't cut corners on what matters most.

Effortless by nature isn't just a tagline. It's the standard we hold ourselves to every time we bring something new into the collection.

Thank you for being here. — ELIEH

Fabric Care

How to care for your pieces

Natural fibers reward a little attention. Here's what each one needs.

Natural / Plant
  • Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle
  • Tumble dry low or air dry flat to avoid shrinkage
  • Iron on medium heat while slightly damp for best results
  • Avoid hot water — it can cause the fabric to shrink and fade
Natural / Plant
  • Hand wash or machine wash cold on delicate
  • Air dry — linen softens beautifully over time with proper care
  • Iron on medium-high while still damp, or embrace the natural texture
  • Never wring — lay flat or hang to dry
Natural / Animal
  • Hand wash in cold water with a gentle wool detergent
  • Never wring or twist — press water out gently and lay flat to dry
  • Steam to remove wrinkles rather than ironing directly
  • Store folded, not hung, to keep the shape
Natural / Animal
  • Hand wash in cold water with a silk-safe detergent, or dry clean
  • Never wring — roll in a towel to absorb excess water
  • Air dry away from direct sunlight to prevent fading
  • Iron on the lowest setting with a cloth between the iron and fabric
Natural / Plant
  • Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle
  • Air dry or tumble dry on the lowest heat setting
  • Avoid fabric softeners — bamboo is naturally soft and they're not needed
  • Low iron if needed; bamboo wrinkles release easily with light heat
Plant-Derived
  • Hand wash cold or dry clean for best results
  • Do not wring — it loses strength when wet
  • Lay flat to dry to maintain shape
  • Iron on low heat while slightly damp
